The Mayor and Council appreciate all of the hard work our residents put into their properties and want the process of discarding yard waste to go smoothy for everyone. Please read the following guidelines and call Town Hall if you have any questions.

Yard Waste Pickup Guidelines

THESE GUIDELINES ARE FOR THE PICK UP OF BIODEGRADABLE YARD WASTE ONLY:   For example: leaves, branches, cut grass.

THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE BUILDING MATERIALS.

IF YOU NEED ANY OTHER TYPE OF BULK PICKUP, PLEASE CALL TOWN HALL FOR PRICING AND AVAILABILITY.

  1.  Yard waste should be bagged (do not put in trash cans) in heavy duty bags, not to exceed 30 lbs.
  2.  No more than 10 bags per household per pick up day.  Any bags over the 10 bag limit will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled pick up day.
  3. All waste must be biodegradable only. The town is only authorized to discard this type of waste.
  4. Tree and shrub limbs must be bundled and tied in 4 ft sections or shorter, also not to exceed 30 lbs.

THESE GUIDELINES ARE IN PLACE TO ENSURE THAT ALL RESIDENTS CAN BE EQUALLY SERVED BY ENSURING EFFICIENT PICKUP OPERATIONS.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
